HELLO
I'm Jesse. Photography and videography have been a passion of mine for over a decade and a freelance pursuit for the past seven years. I've had the opportunity to capture everything from real estate and social media content to events, portraits, landscapes, and outdoor adventures. My approach is simple: create authentic imagery that tells a story and captures moments as they naturally unfold.
MY STORY
I've spent my whole life outdoors, and that's where my passion for photography and videography began. What started as a way to capture and share meaningful experiences gradually grew into a creative pursuit that became an important part of my life. Over time, I began taking on occasional paid projects, including weddings and event coverage, which introduced me to the professional side of visual storytelling.

When I started college, I pursued a degree in marketing at California State University, Fresno, drawn to its broad applications across industries and its connection to brand building, community engagement, and storytelling. Even after graduating, I wasn't entirely sure where I wanted my career to lead. I spent a year focusing on the people and experiences that mattered most to me, which led me back to another lifelong passion: the outdoors. That path eventually led me to my current position at REI, where I developed a deeper appreciation for the outdoor industry and the communities that surround it. Working at REI has strengthened my connection to the outdoors and introduced me to experiences I may not have discovered otherwise. Throughout those years, photography and videography remained a constant creative outlet, whether I was documenting outdoor adventures, travels, or everyday moments.
A couple of years later, an opportunity arose to combine many of the interests that had shaped my path: storytelling, marketing, creativity, and visual media. I joined Lucy at Siong Marketing, where I continue to create content for brands, businesses, and individuals. The experience has allowed me to further develop my skills while doing what I've always enjoyed most: capturing authentic moments and sharing meaningful stories through photo and video.
